When I began Focus On Rhabdo I thought it was a good idea to have two separate levels, subscriber and group member, the difference being a small additional amount of on-line information for those who indicated that they would like to be more involved. In retrospect this might have been a little silly.
Over the next day or two, everyone that registered on the website will be ‘upgraded’ to group member and have full access to all areas of the website. I am hoping that everyone will become more involved with the site and the programs that will be offered.
For the community to thrive it requires involvement. I certainly know that families battling this monster disease have little time to get involved, but the knowledge that you acquire can be of great help to others. Please use the website to share ideas, thoughts, frustrations and any comments that you so desire. As a community we’re all here to help each other.
Our community is made up of families, scientists and clinicians and we’re here to share information across these boundaries. Together we can find the means to make rhabdomyosarcoma a universally survivable disease.
