First Meeting of our Teen Support Group will take place on
December 5, 2018 at 6PM Eastern (4PM Mountain)
Getting something started takes a little longer than one would hope, but we’re ready to begin the facilitated support group for teens – those who are going through treatment as well as those who have completed their treatment – in coordination with the Summer’s Way Foundation. We are hoping to provide a safe and effective support system that will allow for open and honest discussion with other teens facing this enormous challenge.
The group will be facilitated by Kitty Wilcox Soldano, Ph.D. Dr. Soldano has served both as the Clinical Director and Administrative Director for the Outpatient Behavioral Health Services at Ohio State University. She has enormous clinical and teaching experience and has consulted with multiple school systems on issues pertinent to teens.
Please contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to attend. The session will use video conferencing, so a computer with a webcam, a tablet, or a smartphone would work well. For those without any of these devices, you will be able to phone in, but you won’t be able to see the rest of the group.
Many thanks to Dr. Sharon Hammond of Summer’s Way Foundation for making this happen.
